Challenge

• IAA had just commissioned a new look and feel for its main corporate and auction center web sites
• The improved user experience dictated a complete overhaul of the web site application code
• The original site included very little formal documentation, so the key site functionality had to be reverse-engineered from the existing code

Solution

• Working against aggressive deadlines, Redpoint re-implemented the IAA web sites using the Microsoft .NET platform, carefully preserving existing site features and back-end system interfaces
• During development, Redpoint worked closely with the creative agency responsible for the site look and feel, developing prototypes and optimizing new site features

Results

• The new IAA web site re-implementation was completed on time and within the original budget, becoming the client's first .NET application
• As a result of this successful project, Redpoint has continued to enhance the site and work with IAA on other important initiatives
