Our coaches partners with individuals, teams, and ultimately the client organization in a thought- and action-provoking process that inspires clients to actualize their potential. Specifically, coaches need to have the following:

• Keen awareness of engineering/technical practices and management/process practices
• Broad and deep experience coaching individuals, teams, and organizations
• Experience addressing enterprise issues
• Experience blending approaches (Lean, Kanban, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Open to travel throughout the US and outside the US

Software Architect / Agile Coach

There are IT professionals who prefer to spend as much time as possible actively creating awesome software. We appreciate them, and we hire them. But in today's software development climate, there is also a need for a somewhat different sort of individual - someone who enjoys software development and is great at it, but who desires more from the work experience. More personal interaction. A sense of actively helping a client learn and grow.

Redpoint has many clients who call on us to be agents of change - to transform their IT shops into efficient, highly responsive work groups. Many Redpoint consultants embrace this sort of challenge, and serve as Agile coaches when not working as software engineers on development projects. These individuals are also often called upon to serve as iteration managers on critical Redpoint projects.

Software Engineer: Mobile

Redpoint is rapidly expanding its mobile software development business, and is currently hiring software engineers with experience in development for the iOS and Android platforms. In addition to "pure native" application development, Redpoint also uses productivity-enhancing frameworks like MonoTouch, which allows us to write .NET-based software for the iOS platform, and PhoneGap, which allows us to build applications in Web technologies that can run natively on both iOS and Android.

Redpoint is rapidly expanding its mobile software development business, and is currently hiring software engineers with experience in development for the iOS and Android platforms. In addition to experience in one of these areas, successful candidates will have a broad software engineering background that includes at least some of the following skill sets:

• Web application development in .NET (C#), Java, Grails or Rails
• Development of Web / REST services
• Test-Driven and/or Behavior-Driven Development

Software Engineer: Web Applications

The foundation of Redpoint since its early days, web application development continues to be a growth area for us. Redpoint builds web applications for a broad range of clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, using technologies that are appropriate for each individual situation. Redpoint has long been a leader in applications built in Java and .NET; we were early adopters of open source frameworks like Spring and Hibernate (including Spring.NET and NHibernate), and continue to build leading-edge applications on these stacks. In addition, we have heartily embraced newer, more nimble technologies like Ruby on Rails and Groovy/Grails, and use those to bring features to market more quickly when it makes sense to do so.

We are also a proponent of modern JavaScript frameworks like Backbone.js, ExtJS, Knockout.js and Ember.js, and are excited at the advances in web application usability afforded by these frameworks.
